Today, the staff from the three Dorothean schools came together for a special day of unity and reflection, which also offered the opportunity for us to learn about the changes within the Dorothean community, particularly the important role of the laity in continuing the Dorothean mission.

We began the day with the celebration of Holy Mass together with Fr Marco — a moment to pause, reflect, and give thanks.

This was followed by an inspiring talk, “Education in the Age of AI”, delivered by Dr. Gege Gatt, which gave us much food for thought.

Our Director, Ms. Caroline Anastasi, then introduced this year’s Dorothean theme: “As we journey, we learn to communicate.” To bring this theme to life, all members of our community — educators, administrative staff, and our dedicated support team — worked together in groups, sharing ideas on how each of us can embody this message in our daily work and personal lives.

We were also blessed to be joined by our Provincial, Sr Lisette, who shared words of encouragement and wisdom with our community.

It was a beautiful reminder that at St. Dorothy’s, every role is valued, and together we continue to grow as one community.
