Student Council St Dorothy’s School Sliema

At St Dorothy’s we offer the students the opportunity to voice their opinion and to make decisions. The school has a students council which is made up of sixteen students between the ages of seven and eleven. Students are elected democratically through a voting process, whereby students themselves vote for the candidates who opted to run for the council. The council serves as the voice for the entire student body. Through the council, students learn how to be problem-solvers and how to take on leadership roles to be the change which they desire. As a council, we try to reach out to others and organise activities which are altruistic, serve as a fundraising event, educational and above all fun for the students.
