The Designated Safeguarding Officers' task is to maintain a strong collaborative approach with social services and the different teams within the school all of which have in common the holistic well-being of the students.

Children and adolescents experiencing developmental disorders, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties are typically referred to this service.
INCO
Ms Clara Azzopardi

Inclusive Education Coordinator works with a team of professionals including: school leaders, teachers, students, and parents to ensure students with special needs have equitable access to a good quality education. An INCO assists in Implementing and monitoring the Inclusion Policy for equitable curriculum access, create Individual Educational Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, coordinate support and resources, advise on resource management, and ensure smooth transitions between junior, senior, and post-secondary schools.
Psychotherapist

A psychotherapist in schools helps students manage mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders. They provide a safe, confidential space for students to discuss their problems, offer therapeutic interventions, and collaborate with school staff and families to support students' emotional and social well-being.
Counsellor
Ms Sandra Borg

A counsellor supports students and their families in navigating challenges and enhancing overall well-being. The role involves helping students address concerns and developmental issues using various therapeutic approaches in a safe and confidential setting. Additionally, a counsellor empowers students to recognize and utilize their inner skills to improve their situations.
Social Worker
Ms Viva Maša Bogosavljević

The social worker helps students develop coping strategies and provides necessary support to struggling students to encourage their full potential. Ensuring regular school attendance and offering support and guidance to parents or legal guardians is crucial. Additionally, social workers provide information on community resources and act as first respondents to allegations of abuse, consulting with Child Protection Services when necessary.
Youth Worker

Youth workers engage with young people in their own spaces, identifying their needs and encouraging voluntary work and entrepreneurship. Through guidance teachers and career advisors a youth worker provides support for career guidance, organize extracurricular activities, and collaborate with school staff to arrange seminars, workshops, and live-ins.
