Sports day at our school is a perfect occasion for students, teachers and parents to come together for a fun-filled day of sport. The annual Sports Day is usually held in April.

The day can get quite competitive! Students are split into small groups according to year group and house colour, and they compete against each other to accumulate points for the house cup. Parents and teachers get to compete against each other too!

Our sports facilities allow us to spread the games into many areas around the school. This also gives the students considerable independence throughout the day. Some of the games included are volleyball, basketball, football, shot put, relay, long jump, water game, and obstacle race.

To make the day more fun, students get to participate in a dress up competition for which they are encouraged to create a costume out of reused material. This encourages teamwork and creativity, since all members of the team must keep with the same theme.
