Discover St Dorothy's Junior School Ħaż-Żebbuġ

St. Dorothy’s Junior school is located in Ħaż-Żebbuġ, Malta. We are a small Junior school, one of three Dorothean schools on the island. We welcome a total of 160 students between the ages of 4 and 11. As a school we follow the vision of St Paula Frassinetti, who founded the sisters of St Dorothy and as an educator herself, gave special attention to the poorest of the poor, whom she called the images of God without a frame.

As a school, we strive to provide the students entrusted in our care with a holistic education that gives equal importance to the academic aspect as well as good character formation, sound religious values and the development of each child as a unique individual. Through love and simplicity, we endeavour to create a familial atmosphere, where students are encouraged to grow and develop in an inclusive environment that celebrates the achievements of all.

Our dedicated staff, continuously update themselves to keep abreast of the latest teaching methods so that they are equipped with the necessary skills to help each student reach their full potential. We follow the national curriculum and offer a range of extracurricular activities that complement our students’ learning journey. Our extensive grounds, outdoor learning areas, sports gym, auditorium, chapel and dedicated learning spaces, ensure that learning opportunities do not only happen within the classroom and allow us to cater to the diverse needs and talents of our students.
